Welcome to Blue Ridge Lake House on Rushford Lake, in beautiful upstate NY.
This unique property sits high on the north west portion of Rushford Lake sided by a ravine to the right and only 2 other cottages to the left which are not in your sight line. Perfectly situated, the lake house looks out across a nice sized lawn (great for bocci ball & other lawn games) to your large fire pit (firewood included) surrounded by 8 Adirondack chairs and a fabulous view! Winter, spring, summer or fall a bon fire is a good thing.
Spend hours lounging by the fire pit listening to your favorite tunes (speaker available) or sit back and relax on the large deck that stretches across the entire front of the lake house and has its own gas fire table, brilliant for enjoying that glass of wine. You won’t be disappointed whichever you choose!
Games galore….corn hole, ping pong, air hockey, darts and more.
The newly renovated house boasts 2 large bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen for the chef in your life, dinning table that extends to fit 12 guests comfortably, two bedrooms (one queen & two singles) on the main floor and a beautiful master suite on the second floor (king size bed) with its own bathroom. Wake up and walk out of your bedroom door and soak up the view each morning, it will make you smile.
Open concept features the main family room area with 52” TV & WiFi, games table, kitchen bar & stools, dinning area and kitchen.

If you’re looking for a little romance, in the evening dim the lights, light the candles, fireplace and get cozy. Winter or summer Blue Ridge is a special spot.
Feeling active, walk down to the dock, it is a little steep & lots of steps (part of the fitness program here at the lake ~ LOL), remember you are on a ridge.
Down at the dock you will find 2 kayaks and a fishing canoe. You will also find a “Lilly Pad” great for hours of fun on the water…kids or adults!
Enjoy an early morning paddle before everyone wakes up, it’s a self centering experience.
A unique feature to our lake is that it is a dammed lake and in the fall, usually the beginning of October they start to lower the water level. This keeps our lake clean and convenient for dock repairs.
Great places to visit…Letchworth Park, Ellicottville and more are waiting your arrival.

Summary: Our 4 day stay at Blue Ridge Lake house was so amazing. Everything was perfect especially the fully equiped kitchen, very spacious living room, front deck beautiful lawn area. Couldn't have asked for more. Many family members say that want to ccome back.

Summary: We enjoyed this cozy, well kept house so very much. We made good use of all the kitchen facilities. Cleanliness gets an A+, which made us extremely happy. Also, having all the linens furnished was a plus, with us traveling so far. We had one whole day of snowfall which added to our enjoyment. Thank you!

Summary: Great place, loved the house and property... very steep stairs to the lake.... everything we expected. House is great with two full bathrooms....note that trash, recycling and propane is renters responsibility. Loved our stay! Disc golfing, fishing and brew pubs close by.

Summary: We had a wonderful long weekend renting this property. The property had everything we needed, starting with a fully stocked kitchen, and also a great game room in the basement that the kids loved. We really enjoyed using the fire pit and the sitting area with a nice view of the lake. The communication with the owner was perfect, she responded immediately to the couple of questions that I had. We will definitely look to come back soon!

Summary: I stayed at this beautiful lake house on Rushford Lake for three nights with a few of my girlfriends and we had an amazing time. There were 5-6 of us staying there and it was the perfect amount of space for all of us. The property is absolutely gorgeous and immaculate. All of the couches and beds are super comfortable and the kitchen is great for cooking big meals. It also helped that we had picture perfect weather in mid-August. As the other reviews mention, I will reiterate that the stairs down to water are STEEP. As a 29 year old adult, even I was nervous to walk up/down them – especially when wet after being in the lake or at night. The listing mentions a floating dock, but I don't know how you would get it from the house down to the water. Just something to keep in mind. My only other critique would be that the house was missing a few basics. We only found one roll of paper towels and we quickly ran out of toilet paper. Also, the listing boasts about a grill and a gas fire pit on the deck, but both require propane which is NOT provided and there was no mention of that until we arrived at the property. We would've brought our own tank had we known. Also, just as an FYI, you have to bring all your trash/recycling out with you unless you want to pay an extra fee. I wasn't thrilled to learn this, but I do think it's pretty common for a lake house that probably doesn't have its own garbage removal. Anyway, I call those things out just so that others are aware, because I was not. But make no mistake that this place is a diamond in the rough! Especially for the price, it is STEAL! I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Summary: This is a beautiful home set on Rushford waterfront. There was 4 of us that stayed here and we found plenty to do and also enjoyed sitting on the deck admiring the view. Beth respond to my message quickly and was a great host!

Summary: The Blue Ridge Lake House is a hidden gem on Rushford Lake. We were there for my daughter’s wedding and I was hoping for a location where I could be close enough to help with plans and the rest of the family would have stuff to do. I was not disappointed! We enjoyed the lake thoroughly! We wish we had made a boat rental reservation in conjunction with the stay! The house has games, TVs with access to digital apps, comfortable rooms great views, lovely kitchen… VERY well appointed. In addition to the boat rental, I also wished the bedrooms were air conditioned as it was very humid during our stay. Truly the humidity, which was out of the property owners hands (and expected as we have lived in the area previously) was the only negative! I hope the next time I need to stay in the area that the Blue Ridge Lake House is available!

Summary: Wonderful lakeside house just like in the movies! The main room is just huge and luxurious. The house had all the amenities you need. The games room in the basement is great. We had fun swimming from the dock, enjoyed the canoes and lily pad. The only problem we had was not having enough time to sit back and relax. You must visit Letchworth State Park which has amazing waterfalls. We also went to Niagara Falls which was an easy 1.5 hour drive. Would love to come back one day !

Summary: The property was clean and beautiful. It had so many amenities to enjoy, including an air hockey and ping pong table, darts, bean bag toss, ring toss, monopoly, and the kid’s favorite, the lily pad! The view of the lake was gorgeous. We enjoyed the beautiful gas fireplace on the deck, as well as making our own fire in the fire pit in the yard. We enjoyed kayaking and canoeing. The house was beautifully decorated and cozy. We enjoyed movies by the electric fireplace. The cottage was a short distance from a pizza place and eatery, as well as Little Critters where you can buy souvenirs, old candies and sodas etc. Ellicotville is just a short drive from the house, with many cute shops, restaurants, ice cream parlors, a winery, and breweries. If you need groceries, there is a store around the corner from the house and a dollar general. The host was so helpful and answered all our questions. I would highly recommend this property!
